Mark D. Rubey serves as a Relationship Manager for RAA. Mark joined RAA in 2003. Prior to RAA, Mark was a Team Manager with Fidelity Investments for nine years. Mark holds a BS in Finance from Northern Illinois University and an MBA, with an emphasis in Financial and Estate Planning from the University of Dallas. Mark is a Certified Financial Planner™.
Carl A. Youngdale serves as a Managing Director for RAA. Carl joined RAA in 2016. He leads the relationship manager team in the Atlanta office. Prior to RAA, Carl was the Managing Partner of Advisor Financial Services, a company he founded in 1998 to serve the unique needs of his fellow employees in the airline industry. Carl holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia. He is still an active pilot for Delta Air Lines, and currently is an international Captain flying the Boeing 777.
Vice President, Estate Planning
Clay is Vice President of Estate Planning for RAA. Clay joined Eastern Airlines as a pilot in 1979, after serving six years in the United States Air Force. Clay was a member of the Eastern Airlines Pilot Executive Council, with the duties of overseeing the pilot retirement, pension and benefit plans. Clay joined PHH/Retirement Advisors in 1991. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ and was an adjunct faculty member of the College of Financial Planning, teaching Retirement Planning, IRAs, and Employee Benefits. Clay's expertise includes individual retirement accounts, taxation, wills, trusts, family estate reviews and life insurance. Clay received his Business Degree from Florida State University.
Michelle Yates serves as a Relationship Manager for RAA. Michelle joined RAA in February of 2017. As a Relationship Manager, she works directly with RAA clients in all aspects of their financial and retirement planning. She comes to RAA with 15 years of financial services experience, most recently with Strategic Wealth Partners in Dallas, TX and Durbin Bennett Private Wealth Management in Austin, TX. Michelle obtained her BA in Management and Leadership from Judson University in Illinois and holds a Series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor license and a certificate in Paraplanning from the American College of Financial Services.
Robert Gecker serves as Relationship Manager for RAA. Robert officially joined the company in February 1997 after being associated with Fidelity investments since 1994. He has worked in the investment business since 1988. As a Relationship Manager, Robert is responsible for the day to day communication with the company’s clients. Robert holds a BS in Finance from St. John’s University. He also holds a professional designation from the college of financial planning as a chartered retired planning counselor.
Rutledge A. Gordon serves as a Managing Director for RAA. Rutledge joined the company in 1998. He enjoys the personal relationships he has with his clients and helping them achieve their goals. Prior to joining RAA, Rutledge had his own financial planning practice. Rutledge holds a BBA in Business Management from Harding University. He also earned The College for Financial Planning’s Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation in 2000.
Senior Relationship Manager
Paul Ochel is a Senior Relationship Manager at RAA. Paul joined the company in 2006. He is responsible for working with clients to secure a solid financial retirement. Prior to RAA, he worked with individual investors at Fidelity Investments and Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. Paul obtained his BA in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and his MBA in Financial and Estate Planning from the University of Dallas. Paul is a Certified Financial Planner ™.
Senior Relationship Manager
Richard H. (Rick) Oldham serves as a Senior Relationship Manager for RAA. Rick joined the company in March 2013. He works directly with clients in all aspects of their financial and retirement planning. Prior to RAA, he worked with individual investors at E*TRADE Financial and New England Financial. Rick obtained his BA in Economics and Finance from Furman University and his Certified Financial Planner™ certificate from the University of Georgia.
Josh Pinchek serves as a Relationship Manager for RAA and has over 15 years of experience in financial planning. Prior to joining RAA, he spent 10 years as a Financial Advisor with Fidelity Investments, working with high net worth clients to develop financial plans and implement investment strategies. He was also formerly a Financial Advisor with JP Morgan and American Express Financial Advisors. Josh earned his BSBA in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh and is a Certified Financial Planner™
David Robertson serves as a Relationship Manager for RAA. Prior to RAA, David spent nineteen years at Fidelity Investments, ADP Retirement Services and Wells Fargo Advisors, where he was responsible for retirement plan sales for the Midwestern United States. David is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and holds the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist designation.
Katherine T. Schraeder (Kat) serves as Managing Director for RAA. Kat joined RAA in 2006. She works directly with RAA clients in all aspects of their financial and retirement planning. She also serves as the liaison between the operations department and the client service department. Prior to joining RAA, Kat managed Edward Jones Investment branches in both Muleshoe, TX and Lewisville, TX. Kat is a Cum Laude Honors graduate of Texas A&M University and is a Certified Financial Planner™.
Earl Williams serves as a Relationship Manager for RAA. Earl joined RAA in 2016 with the merger of Advisor Financial Services. He joined AFS in 2015. Prior to AFS, Earl was an Advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors, Fifth Third Securities and Northwestern Mutual Insurance. Earl has a BS in Engineering from The Ohio State University and an MBA. Earl holds a Certified Financial Planner® designation.
Richard Winters serves as a Relationship Manager at RAA with over 20 years of experience working in the financial services industry. Prior to joining RAA, he worked at Fidelity Investments for 15 years, with the last 9 years working within the High Net Worth group, helping clients with their investments and developing financial plans. Prior to joining Fidelity, Richard served four years with the US Army Rangers – 75th Ranger Regiment. He earned a BA in Business from Westminster College and holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation, Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC®) designation and the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) designation from the College of Financial Planning. Richard is a Certified Financial Planner™ and an adjunct professor at the University of Dallas Gupta School Of Business teaching courses in financial planning and investments.
Jill Pivato serves as the Client Experience Manager for RAA. Jill joins the RAA team as part of the merger with Advisor Financial Services, LLP. She has worked as Client Service and Operations manager for AFS since 2005. Prior to AFS, Jill worked for Foundation Financial Management, LLC. Jill holds the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA™) designation awarded by the Institute of Divorce Financial Analysts™ and has a BA in Marketing from Bowling Green State University.
Vice President, Financial Consultant
Fred joined RAA as a Vice President, Financial Consultant in 2017. He is also an A330 Captain for Delta Air Lines. Prior to joining RAA, Fred served as Managing Principal at Resource Navigation Partners, Inc. With years of industry experience, Fred’s focus is to assist his clients with their financial planning needs and help them reach their short and long-term financial goals.
He has a degree from the United States Air Force Academy and post-graduate work in accounting, and continues his accreditation in life and long-term care insurance. In addition, he earned his AIF® (Accredited Investment Fiduciary) designation, and applies that fiduciary standard in every aspect of his work. Fred is an active member of the community and works with numerous local charities.
Vice President, Financial Consultant
Gary joined RAA as a Vice President, Financial Consultant in 2017. He has been an active personal investor in the financial markets for over 30 years, and began his investment career with a major broker/dealer as a Financial Advisor in September 2009, where he provided investment strategies and wealth management along with personal financial planning. He believes that the keys to successful financial planning and investment management are understanding the financial goals of his client, open and honest communication, and putting clients’ needs and wishes above all else.
Gary holds the Series 7 and Series 66 licenses. He also received a BBA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison as well as an MBA in International Management and Finance from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, where much of his coursework was in security analysis, portfolio management, and corporate finance. Gary is also a B757/767 Captain based out of Seattle, Washington. He enjoys cycling, camping, soaring, and spending time with his family.
